Light a Candle
Patricia Rose Smith (Creathbaum) passed away September 30, 2018 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center with family and friends by her side.
She was born in Liberal, KS on November 24, 1947 to William and Lily Creathbaum. She is survived by her husband Gary W Smith of Lenexa KS. They were married for 52 years. She had one daughter Danielle Wakefield (husband Matt) of Overland Park KS, a son Troy Smith (wife Sarah) of San Diego CA, five grandchildren Nicholas Platt, Sarah Platt, Charlie Wakefield, Riley Smith and Colby Smith. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Roberta Williamson, Paula Rush and Marsha Robertson. She was proceeded in death by another sister, Billie Simpson.
She was a very special wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved spending her time with family and friends. Her grandchildren were the light of her life as she was to them. She was always active in their lives. Spring and Summer were her favorite seasons as she loved spending time in her garden with her husband. She always had a beautiful flowering garden. She will be greatly missed but left behind an amazing legacy of love and kindness.

Service:
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Church of the Resurrection in the Wesley Covenant Chapel, Building C. Visitation at 10:00 am, Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday October the 27th. 13720 Roe Ave, Leawood, KS 66224.
